It was 1969 when the Stonewall clashes took place in New York. Since then, the LGBTQ+ community has never stopped fighting for its rights and making its voice heard.
This year, 50 years after the start of the fight, Converse has decided to celebrate the community through a completely dedicated capsule collection that features Chuck 70 and Chuck Taylor. Along with the sneakers you will also find items that for the first time also carry the trans flag.
For the occasion the brand has taken a campaign that sees six figures very close to the LGBTQ+ community: the drag kid Desmond Is Amazing, the trans activist Kristin Beck, the pro-skateboarder Alexis Sablone, the student Felix, the stylist Ayishat Akanbi and the writer Fran Tirado.
Discover them all by looking at the images and buy the collection on converse.com starting next May 21st.
