In Milan, more precisely in Busto Arsizio, the “Paninaro movement” was born in the early 80s. The main character of the wave: total disinterest in every distressing aspect and every frustration. The main objective of Paninari was to fully enjoy life, without too much trouble. In a short time they become a real phenomenon of costume, also gaining a certain notoriety in various magazines, films and television parodies.
They identify and relate to the classic model of American cinema, made of consumption and commercial commercials. The look of the Paninaro was composed of a few pieces, but all very branded, so as to show the family richness. Absolutely prohibited any kind of imitation, and counterfeits.
The typical Paninaro frequented middle and upper schools, difficult to find in universities. He grew a real obsession with his own image, lived cheerfully at the day and found himself in certain venues. The most famous of all, from which derives the name of the movement, was the bar Al panino.
The duvet was strictly Moncler, the Ray-Ban sunglasses, the shoes, which had two variants, were Timberland. Paninara Fashion was exhausted between 1987 and 1988, but still today these brands are the most sought after and worn.
