Tell us about yourself and what you do in life.
I'm Marika, I'm 21, I was born in the spring of April. I try to live my passions. I have many but the one for the beauty world is certainly predominant.
When and how was born the passion for beauty?
The passion for beauty was born very early, the first approaches to cosmetics go back to elementary schools. I never went out without gloss, I always carried it in my purse.
I remember that at the age of 13, when I went to the cinema with my friends and I knew there would be a boy I liked, I would lock myself in the bathroom and secretly put my mother's foundation thinking she wouldn’t notice it. After years, I discovered that my mother was aware of it...
What is, in your opinion, a beauty trend today?
A beauty trend that, in my opinion, we will soon see everywhere is the mascara of the same color of the eyeshadow. Or even the no-mascara. In general, make-up is going more and more towards its “fun” and fresh side, that is towards everything that is experimental and DIY.
Three things you absolutely would like to do in the shortest time possible.
- I would like to turn leitalienne.com (my website/blog) into an online beauty magazine.
- I would like another cat.
- I would like to move to Milan.
Your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is being able to become an influential make-up artist, launch my own line of cosmetics and live in LA in an attic like that of Priscilla Ono.
