We remind you of the notes of Vamos at Bailar (esta vida nueva), with a sensual and decidedly transgressive turn. Paola and Chiara were the sisters who were hired by Claudio Cecchetto in 1996. Formerly backing vocalists in the group 883, is the participation in Sanremo Giovani people to launch them in an endless success, with the song In Viaggio.
The following years are full of constant confirmations: Amici come prima wins Sanremo 1997, are called to the Festivalbar and to Un disco per l’estate. They are also the protagonists of the soundtrack of the movie Disney Hercules, with the super romantic song Ti vada o no.
The 2000 is the year of the album Television, Paola and Chiara leave the rock notes and decided in favor of songs more danceable and read. Success is overwhelming and they get good plays even abroad.
Their songs just don’t get out of your head. The motivets work and the radios pass through them several times a day. The Spanish and South American markets then, they love them.
After a few singles from soloists, in 2007 and 2009, they return together in the historical format Canzonissima.
June 2009, Vamos a bailar is named Summer smash of the last twenty years from the weekly Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni.
In 2013 they decide to separate themselves artistically. Chiara has started from scratch as a competitor of talent The Voice, now studying acting, and has appeared in several movies and web series. Paola continued to work in the world of music, establishing herself an undisputed gay icon, now takes care of fashion and photography. After the separation from Chiara said she had suffered from depression for three long years.
Known as the Queens of Festivalbar, they have sold millions of records worldwide, have transgressed without cader in the vernacular and have grown independently. The artistic farewell (and personal) of the two, interrupted the dream of an Italian pop entirely new.
