There’s a point in which IG’s #foodporn phenomenon and Hollywood’s Walk of Fame collapse and create something unique, and it’s the Instagram account @celebsonsandwiches, where an infinite amount of celebrities casually chills on different sandwiches, and it has already conquered 173 thousand of followers.
The daring and incredible mind that’s hidden behind this profile is the one of the Californian artist Jeff McCarthy, who turned an exhilarating intuition into a proper business made out of stickers, posters, pins and copy books with his drawings. The artist has started drawing since he was a kid, and eventually left behind his passion to focus on cinema and animation that he studied while he was a college student. Anyway, he never completely stopped drawing and during his free time he was used to paint and illustrate for pure fun, and he soon created his beautiful works where he combined two of people’s favorite things: fame and food. Even though he has tons of fans’ requests for celebrities+sandwiches couples, Jeff really likes to follow his own intuition, and he says he only draws people who he thinks have a good sense of humor and can really appreciate his sort of homage. Many celebrities loved Jeff works and congratulated him, such as Jennifer Garner or Anna Faris.
