By

Serena Jameka Williams is known today as the strongest tennis player in history. The 35-year-old Compton, nicknamed "The Queen", as a true queen, has obstructed many obstacles in and out of the field. Of a champion of such proportions we know the main characteristics: willpower, desire to emerge at any cost, pure determination. But the smallest of the Williams possesses another strong point: the character. Serena always says what she thinks, no filters. For you there are no taboo topics: from the disparity in salaries between men and women to racism, the injustice to the American champion has no place to stay. The fact that happened to the final of the US Open feminine speaks clear: Serena after receiving technical-tactical advice from his trainer, is resumed and labelled as a cheat. Williams accuses the referee of being a thief, undergoing a third warning and a game of penalties, thus losing any chance of victory. WMNrolemodels_acrimoniamagazine2 The incident becomes a case of gender equality: «in my career I have seen men players say everything to the judges without anything happening-he repeated Serena in conference at the end of the match-I will continue to fight for women's rights and for equality. I yelled at him thief and he took away a game: it seemed like a sexist decision to me. He would never have done it to a man ».  The case has aroused countless chain reactions, Billie Jean King, former tennis player, commented on Twitter: When a woman lets go to emotions, becomes "hysterical" and is penalized. When a man does the same thing, he is "blunt " and there are no repercussions. Thank you Serena Williams for highlighting this double standard, many other items must do the same». The Williams, even off the field, has faced very difficult moments. Having become a mom for just over a year, after several health complications, Serena spoke openly to Vogue America's post-partum problems. He faced sadness and depression, negative thoughts and bad days. But the communication for you was the key. Speaking with mom and sisters she understood that not every day can be positive, but this does not make her a bad mother.
